In accordance with Colorado state law, coaches of organized youth sports must complete annual concussion recognition education. These trainings are free, quick, and available online. 

One such course, offered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is available online at no cost. The course takes about 45 minutes to complete and provides a certificate of completion at the end. 

Teams should collect and retain a record of such completion certificates from all employed coaches, respectively.
