RMSL Ribbon Order 2020
Please complete your order by filling in the google sheet and sending me your check by March 15, 2020 (DUE DATE)
Directions:
- On the google sheet, put in your request (there are tabs at the bottom that describe what teams ordered in the past to help you assess what you may need this year; there is also a tab with historical averages).
- Look at the total amount due after you plug in your complete order.
- Mail a check made out to Bow MarS Sharks (yes, that “s” on the end of Mars is capitalized) J to Lindsay Lumpkin/5849 Snowberry Drive/Littleton CO 80123
- IMPORTANT: Orders need to be in increments of 100 ribbons

Guidelines for ordering:
*A dual swim meet has 22 relays and 68 individual events.
*Each relay gets four ribbons, and each individual gets one.
*A dual meet requires 156 ribbons per place, per event (88 relays plus 68 individual).
*If you award ribbons for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, there are 468 (3x156) ribbons required per meet.
*Because most teams (on average) will win half the ribbons in a meet, divide 468 ribbons by 2 and you get 234 ribbons per team.
*If you have five meets you would need 1,170 ribbons to distribute among 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
Guidelines for pricing/payment
*Last year, ribbons were approximately 22 cents per piece.
*The league will purchase all ribbons in order to get a bulk rate.
*Your invoice will be in the bag with the ribbons that I’ll deliver to an RMSL meeting.
Below is the link to the ribbons google sheet. I've entered our order so you can see an example. Our total is $165.17 Thus, the total that you see will be the amount you make your check out for. Please let me know if you have questions. And as you can see, I ordered in increments of 100.
Lastly, all ribbons will say “Swim Meet” instead of “Dual Meet” so you can use for the tri meets as well.
