2020 Season Update & Next Steps

Good Morning RMSL,
Thank you for joining us last night. We are grateful for each one of you as we navigate these complicated times.
Each Team Next Steps (By May 26th):
- Notify league of participation in 2020 season
- Submit team plan for 2020 season to league
- Submit preliminary roster of swimmer to league
- Next meeting for those opting in May 26th at 7pm via zoom

RMSL 2020 Season Plan:
- Insurance Coverage for all teams continued at no cost
- NEW Liability Waiver for COVID-19 required by all participants
- Prelims/Finals for 2020 Year Canceled
- Published Meet 2020 Schedule Suspended
- Remaining teams (Opt In) will work together to
craft practice, swim team activities, and meets as possible
- Ideas include Inter-Squad Meets, Practice by Age, Social Events in very small scale
- Use of Swimmingly or Swimtopia or Meet Manager
allowed for Inter-Squad meets; however, best practices for shared equipment
must be enforced
- Virtual Meets are possible with Swimtopia and Swimmingly and can be arranged team to team directly
- Each team may opt in or out of the 2020 season without any future impact to league status
- Teams will need to adhere to CDC/USA Swimming/Tri-County Guidelines
