Tri-County Update
Good Morning RMSL,
I wanted to pass along the latest we've heard from tri-county. I know we are all subject to our county, pool, HOA mandates but I wanted to share this in case it is valuable.
As of May 16th, The TCHD Public Health Order is in Level Clear which means no capacity or operating restrictions-business as usual along with recommended CDC guidance for cleaning. Pool facilities can also choose to have stricter mitigation practices in place, if you prefer. Level Clear will be in place until August 16th at which time determinations will be made for next steps. The only thing to note is if hospitalization metrics reach a concerning level between now and August, counties may be pushed back into more restrictions. That move would be announced and as coordinated as possible.
Regarding masking, TCHD no longer has its own mask mandate and is following the States’. Governor Polis announced last week that fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks in public spaces, with some exceptions. Regarding how this masking mandate applies to pools, you can choose to enforce the mask mandate as is or with stricter provisions. You can ask members to show proof of vaccination or take their word for it. Masking is still required through the State’s Order for unvaccinated individuals in indoor public spaces.
