Greetings Parents, Coaches, and Swimmers:

The swim season is in full swing and it is great to be back together at the pool. The Executive Committee of RMSL would like to take few minutes to remind everyone of the RMSL’s purposes.

RMSL was formed “to provide an opportunity for young people to develop swimming skills and gain a positive recreational swimming experience through competition” and “to provide an organized framework within which coaches, competitors, parents, and league officials can operate with courtesy, good will and sportsmanship.”

We respectfully ask that everyone keeps these purposes in mind this swim season.

We hope you will CHEER LOUDLY for our competitors but in a positive and encouraging manner.

And we will require that you RESPECT our officials and coaches. As you may know, our officials are volunteers (and human). If you have a concern regarding an official, we ask that you not address it directly with them but rather discuss the matter with your coaches or parent reps.
