Ribbon Orders - from BMS

Hi RMSL!
My name is Mackenzie with Bow Mar Sharks and I will be handling the ribbon order this year. Please follow the directions below & thank you in advance!
Ribbon Order 2024
Please complete your order by filling in the google sheet at the bottom of this emailbeforeour next meeting.All orders due March 1st.
Directions:
- On the Google sheet enter your ribbon order request on the 2024 tab (there are tabs at the bottom that describe what teams ordered in the past to help you assess what you may need this year; there is also a tab with historical averages).
- IMPORTANT:Orders need to be inincrements of 100 ribbons
- The total amount will be calculated on the far right.
- We will place the order to get the bulk rate of .28 cents per ribbon and we will also front the cost for the deposit. (A slight increase in ribbon price from last year)
- When the ribbon orders are ready (I’ll send out an email), each team will pick up their own order at Crown Trophyat 1099 West Littleton Blvd., Littleton, CO 80120 and send your checks to Bow Mar South.
Guidelines for ordering:
*A dual swim meet has 22 relays and 68 individual events.
*Each relay gets four ribbons, and each individual gets one.
*A dual meet requires 156 ribbons per place, per event (88 relays plus 68 individual).
*If you award ribbons for 1st, 2ndand 3rdplace, there are 468 (3x156) ribbons required per meet.
*Because most teams (on average) will win half the ribbons in a meet, divide 468 ribbons by 2 and you get 234 ribbons per team.
*If you have five meets you would need 1,170 ribbons to distribute among 1st, 2ndand 3rdplaces.
Lastly, all ribbons will say “Swim Meet” instead of “Dual Meet” so you can use for the tri meets as well.
