RMSL Meet Manager Training tomorrow at 6pm Knolls Clubhouse

Meet Managers,

This is a reminder about the Meet Manager training at the Knolls Clubhouse (3400 E. Geddes Dr., Centennial, CO 80122) tomorrow at 6pm. Attached is the updated RMSL Meet Maestro Handbook.  The new additions in the 2024 Handbook are:

1. Color coded indicators of what steps the Home and Away teams need to do.

2. Step 5 Part 1 is updated with a better explanation of what the Session Report can tell you.

3. Step 5 Part 2 is updated with how to create and print up the Lane Timer Sheets.  Lane Timer Sheets need to be printed up for each lane by the home team as your timing backup (in case a time does not come into the computer), as a last check for the timers to make sure the correct swimmer is swimming and as a way to keep the timers engaged/paying attention to the races. You do not need to also print up a Meet Program for each lane since the Lane Timer Sheets are actually easier for the Timers to read and write the times on.

Remember that if you are a seasoned Meet Manager and do not feel like you need any extra help, then you do not need to attend tomorrow night's training. On the other hand, if you are a new Meet Manager and cannot attend, please reach out to me so that we can figure out a time for me to help train you. I have had a few new people reach out to me already that they will not be able to attend tomorrow night, so I will get back to those of you that contacted me this weekend to find a time to train you.  Let me know if you have any questions.
