Hello RMSL Teams,

Attached is the Round 1 Finals Heat Sheet.

1. In the heat sheet, any event showing Heat 1 of 3 represents the alternates (two alternates are listed). We will only swim two heats of each event at Finals (the Consolation Heat and the Championship Heat), but this is the only way to display the alternates in the heat sheet. Because of this extra heat, the estimated start times are not shown, as they would not be accurate. Updated estimated start times will be included in the finalized Finals Heat Sheet that will be sent on Friday after alternates have been confirmed.
2. We need to be notified of all scratches from every team. Please email the swimmer's name, team, and event(s) they are scratching from so we can move up any alternates (including relay scratches). Please submit scratches as soon as possible, but no later than 12:00 PM (Noon) on Friday, so we have time to notify alternates.
3. Relay Changes: Relay changes are only permitted if a swimmer on the relay is a full scratch from the meet. No movement between relay teams is permitted (for example, a swimmer may not be moved from the B Relay to the A Relay, or vice versa).

   When submitting an eligible relay change, please email:

   • Event number
   • Relay designation (A, B, C, etc.)
   • Swimmer order
   • Name of the scratched swimmer
   • Name of the replacement swimmer

   If the replacement swimmer is not already entered in the top 18 of an individual Finals event, please include the swimmer's first name (exactly as it appears in SwimTopia), last name, birthdate, and team. This information can be found in your team's SwimTopia site under Manage Team > People > Athlete Profile. Matching this information exactly allows us to manually add the swimmer in Meet Maestro without creating duplicate athlete records when results are uploaded.

4. All scratches and eligible relay changes must be received by 12:00 PM (Noon) on Friday. This is a hard deadline. The finalized Finals Heat Sheet will be distributed by 6:00 PM Friday. Meeting this deadline will help minimize changes during the Saturday morning scratch meeting.
